Package com.tahatec.ethanol_blend_calculator · Published by Tahatec · Effective 15 October 2026
Ethanol Blend Calculator (“the app”) works out how much of two
fuels to add to a tank to reach a target ethanol blend, and offers related
tools (mixing known quantities, identifying a fuel from a sensor reading,
reading a water-separation test, blend properties and price comparison). This
policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
Your data stays on your device
Every calculation runs entirely on your device. The
vehicles you save (name, tank size, usual fuels, fuel economy, prices), the
fill history you choose to keep, and the values you type are stored only in
the app’s private storage on your phone. None of it is uploaded,
and the developer has no access to any of it. Uninstalling the app deletes
it all.
What the app does send
The app uses three Google services, each of which may transfer data to
Google’s servers:
Google AdMob shows a banner and an occasional full-screen
ad. AdMob may collect the advertising ID, approximate location derived from
the IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data, subject
to Google’s Privacy Policy.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app
asks for your consent through Google’s consent form before any ad is
requested, and you can change your choice at any time under
Settings → Ad privacy options.
Firebase Analytics records anonymous usage events
(for example that a calculation was made and whether the target was
reachable, which tool was opened, which language is in use). Events carry
no vehicle names, prices, odometer values or notes, and ethanol percentages
are bucketed to the nearest ten before being sent.
Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report when the app
stops unexpectedly: the stack trace, device model, OS version and app
version. Reports never include what you typed.
The app requests no permission other than Internet access, which these
services need. It does not access your location, contacts, files, camera or
microphone.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly
collect personal information from them.
Your choices
Withhold or withdraw ad consent (where the consent form is shown) under
Settings → Ad privacy options.
Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android’s settings.
Delete the app’s data by clearing its storage or uninstalling it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address
with a new effective date.
