Built for real fill-ups
- Partial tanks from the gauge reading, litres or the trip computer's range
- A pump sequence with a gauge checkpoint: add this much E85 until the gauge reads 5/8, then fill with E10
- Fill up, add a fixed amount, or add the minimum of one fuel
- Litres, US gallons or imperial gallons, and saved vehicles so the next fill is two taps
Honest when a target can't be reached
If there is too much E10 in the tank to hit E70, the app says so instead of showing a negative number, then shows the closest blend you can reach and how far to drive the tank down first.
“E85” is rarely 85%
US pumps legally sell 51 to 83% ethanol, and the content drops in winter. Presets for the US, EU, France, Sweden, Australia, Canada, Thailand and Brazil carry the real ranges, and you can enter what your sensor or a fuel test says.
More tools
Mix known amounts, back-solve what a pump really sold from your flex-fuel sensor, read a water-separation ethanol test, see stoichiometric AFR, energy, octane estimate and expected range, and check whether ethanol is worth it per unit of energy. Fill history per vehicle is kept offline.
Questions
- How do I calculate an E85 mix?
- The blend is the total ethanol divided by the total fuel. Enter what is in the tank, its ethanol content and your target, and the app solves for how much of each fuel to add.
- Why is my blend lower than expected?
- Probably because the E85 at your pump is not 85% ethanol. Winter blends can be much lower; use your market's preset or a fuel test value.
- Is a blend safe for my engine?
- The app only does the arithmetic. Whether a blend suits your engine is for your vehicle's documentation or tuner to decide.
