Test any link
- A live, colour-coded breakdown of scheme, host, path, query parameters and fragment
- Warnings for the classic mistakes: missing scheme, unencoded spaces, duplicate query keys, missing browser fallback
- Every app that can handle the link, with the current default marked
- Launch into the default handler, the chooser or one specific app, and see which app opened or why nothing did
Dissect incoming links
The app registers its own deeplinktester:// scheme and captures every incoming intent in full: action, data, categories, referrer, flags and typed extras. Share a link from any app straight in.
Verify your App Links setup
Fetch and validate a domain's assetlinks.json and apple-app-site-association, query Android's own domain verification state for any installed app (the equivalent of pm get-app-links), and scan 30+ well-known URI schemes to see which apps answer them.
Build and share
Assemble links field by field with correct percent-encoding, show a QR code to open a link on another device, copy a correctly quoted adb command, and keep history, an inbox and saved links with JSON export. The links you test never leave your device.
Questions
- Why does my App Link open the browser instead of my app?
- Usually because Android has not verified the domain: the assetlinks.json is missing, unreachable or lists the wrong certificate fingerprint. The app fetches and checks the file and shows Android's verification state for your app.
- How do I test a deep link without adb?
- Type or paste the link in the app and launch it. You see which apps can handle it and what actually opened, with no computer needed.
- Can it test custom schemes like myapp://?
- Yes, along with https links and full intent:// URIs.
